Identifying Upsell Opportunities with CustomerIQ

With CustomerIQ, you can easily identify upsell opportunities by finding mentions of relevant topics across your entire customer base. Here’s how to leverage this feature to reach out and engage with your customers.

Step 1: Create a New View for Upsell Opportunities

To begin, create a view that tracks mentions related to your new feature set:

  1. Navigate to the Highlights tab, then click on Views.
  2. Select Create a New View and name it something like "Upsell Opportunities."
  3. Use the Search function to find mentions of your new feature across all customer interactions in the last 90 days (you can adjust the timeframe as needed).

For example, if your new feature is related to PMP spend or an ad tech platform, search for those terms.

Step 2: Analyze the Results

In just seconds, CustomerIQ will display all relevant mentions. You’ll be able to see:

  • Accounts that mentioned the feature.
  • Recent conversations, including when customers talked about this feature.

You can even track trends to see if interest in this feature is increasing or if it has been a recurring topic.

Step 3: Proactively Reach Out

Once you have the list of accounts, you can proactively engage with them:

  1. Reach out to accounts that mentioned the feature.
  2. Introduce the new feature set and explore upsell opportunities by offering a demo or additional resources.
